True to the above saying Kaviyan School conducts its Talent show every year. Talent show 2011 was conducted on 8th January. Around Eighty four students from 12 schools in and around Madurai and Dindigul districts participated.
Kaviyan School with the motive to give rural children an opportunity to reveal their hidden talents, conducted various competitions like Drawing, Spell Bee, Elocution, Fancy dress and Essay Writing. Impartial judges from appropriate fields were invited to judge the performance of children.
The winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2500, Rs.1500 and Rs.1000 as I, II and III prizes respectively. Kaviyan School won the overall shield with the highest score. Kaviyan School looks forward to the participation of many more schools in future.
