With the morning of Friday November 12th came the prospect of the sports events, which all Kaviyans were eagerly looking forward to. The second annual sports day of the school brought into light the energy and enthusiasm of our young Kaviyans.
The event was flagged off with unfurling of the Olympic flag and lighting of the Olympic torch. Children participated in various events like march past, colourful mass drills, duck walks, filling the bottle, running, relay, yoga demos and pyramids, each one striving hard to reach their ultimate glory.
The event gave the kids an opportunity to mingle with their peers and exhibit their sportsmanship. The winners were soaring high with happiness when they received their medals and of course a big round of applause from the audience. The favourable weather was indeed one of the most important reasons for the success of the event.
