Field trips are exciting educational opportunities for students and teachers alike. They are designed to enhance the educational experience for all the students and provide the students with an opportunity to learn outside the classroom.
Students of III to VI moved to the animated movie “The Lion King” as a part of field trip. Students are very curious to watch the 3D movie. “The Lion King”, which is a superbly drawn animated feature, is surprisingly solemn in its subject matter, and may even be too intense for young children.
It is a special treat to children because the animation is phenomenal and super realistic. The movie was useful for them to know the great messages of good Vs evil, love, friendship, legacy, and responsibility. So students got the special experience because of technical advancement in computer animation. They spent the day with utmost happiness. Children had a novel time during the movie.
The students of 7th ,8th and 9th have gone to Gandhigram Rural Institute on Monday (05.08.2019) as a field trip.
The campus of nearly 200 acres of the edge of the beautiful Sirumalai range, Founded by Dr.G.Ramachandran, Dr.T.S.Soundaram.
At first our students explored into Gandhigram Lakshmi Seva Sangam, an expertise in supplying and trading of Ayurvedic medicine, observed and collected the information about their business processes.
Then students went to Homemade Herbal Soap manufacturing unit. The products, which were manufactured as per the BIS standard and have good market across the state.
Then the students moved to Yamaha Training School, where the rural youths were being offered the certificate course to train to enhance basic skills and training relating to the servicing of Two Wheelers.
And students went to papad manufacturing unit. They give employment to rural women and made the various kinds of handmade papad, students were directly contact with those women and collected the information about their process.
After lunch students went to Gandhi Museum there saw pictures and narrations of Mahathma Gandhi. And finally students went to solar energy unit. The personnel explained the details of about the working of solar panals and how it convert the solar energy into electric energy.
With the lot of knowledge by the evening students returned to our school.
