The Independence Day of any country is a moment of pride and glory. On this special occasion, rich tributes were paid to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives and fought to free our motherland from the clutches of the oppressors.
This national festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm by all Kaviyans. The celebration took place on 15th August 2011 in the school campus. The flag hoisting ceremony and cultural programmes evoked the feeling of patriotism in the young minds. The Independence Day message by the Headmistress and the short video clipping on social responsibility inspired the young children to know their duties and responsibilities as students. Fancy dress of freedom fighters, patriotic songs, speech and dance added features to the celebration.
