Kaviyans too celebrated the day with all regard and patriotism. Mrs. Pandiammal, Sub-Inspector of Police hoisted the National Flag. A group of girls sang a patriotic song, a speech on the significance of celebrating Independence day was made by a class VII student and the girls of classes VI,VII,VIII danced for a song on National Integrity.
